Or Deficiency & Symptom
Again this is an area I am just beginning to compile (that is how the dictionary started). My GOAL, and I need your help with this, is to have a comprehensive, alphabetized list of symptoms & solutions & Deficiencies & Symptoms. I think this will help some mom’s make judgments when adding and subtracting supplements. I know there are probably really good lists out there already on the web & would much rather just hyperlink, with any missing additions. But here is where I will keep my notes when I learn stuff like this.
IODINE DEFICIENCY: (Thank you to the
Indescribable Willis Langford)
This
should be suspected in all of our children until you have performed this simple
test. Buy the $2 bottle of Iodine Tincture from the drug store. Paint a silver
$ size circle on tummy. Watch it. If it disappears within 24 hours your child
is IODINE DEFICIENT. Put another dab of it on a new spot (keep track where
& when), as soon as it disappears (rather than staying pink & slightly
visible) prior to 24 hours, put another one & so on until you can get one
dab to stay visible for 24 hours. Then they are fully iodized. Repeat often.
CALCIUM DEFICIENCY: Any extra attention your
child pays to his/her eyes (poking, fiddling, scratching, etc.) should trigger
figuring this out & supplementing adequately.
RED RED LIPS
WITHOUT COLD HANDS & FEET AT NIGHT: B2 Deficiency
Cold Hands
& Feet @ night, and/or lower 1st morning body temp than normal: Hypothyroid
(Huge, correctable, “starting place” for these kids)
This is not
necessarily the right place for this, but not sure where else to put it. I was
talking to Willis and decided to ask about a friend of mine & her children
who present as follows: GF/CF, thorough supplementation, VOC avoidance, low
phenol diet, Gluten/Casseine/phenol HYPER-sensitive = in his estimation PSD
probably from mercury toxicity, gut bugs & missing primary supplements.
Suggestion: SCDiet, supported chelation & B6, B12,Folic Acid, Vit C,
Serine, Magnesium, Molybdenum, Selenium, and more B6 (multiple places on
pathway) & of course any way to increase sulfation (bath, rubs, etc.)
