Warning: the content of this document was compiled & produced in April of 2002. My priority has been adding content/hyperlinks over editing. As a result, I know there are mistakes & inconsistencies here. I will be cleaning it up soon. But where you find conflict, do not trust this document because it is the most dated (& not yet updated).

The following is a very rough draft of research into environment and hidden food allergies and Autism, which you may find useful. Each line item is a subject, which I have come to learn something specific about, you may find interesting, perhaps confusing. I should have made them in categories (but haven’t yet)

1.)      Descriptive Features/Definition: D  2.) Best Practices: B  3.) Avoid: A 4.) Find: F 5.) Resource: R

1.)      Descriptive Features/Definition: this is pretty self-explanatory, but basically, most items will have some defining characteristics which apply to the chemically sensitive and allergic population  (and of course I believe the Autistic/PDD/ADD etc. population) and are listed here

2.)      Best Practices: whenever possible, I listed the best situation/features of items

3.)      Avoid: listed are the WORST choices to avoid for some items

4.)      Find: where you can find the “Best Practices” choices

5.)      Resources: where my information came from, see RESOURCES (to add soon)

As updates are made the information will (hopefully) get clearer and easier to use. And the theory/belief will be better explained and documented, but for now here is some potentially applicable information:
