Recovery Commonality;
What I observe in the protocols of the children who recover is some combination of the following (but always the 1st four):
Ability to overcome original prognosis through research (video at top)
Creation of the reality around them that their child could
& would recover!
Ownership of child’s healing/recovering vs. dependence on doc’s “curing”
Feeling of community among other parents on this journey
(TACA, chelatingkids2, email from mom with group)
Non-toxic living attempt (no smells in the house etc.)
Diet changes that go way beyond Gluten, Cassein & Soy Free
(Rotation, Organic, low glycemic index, SCD, Excitotoxin limit)
Chelation (more with TD-DMPS than anything else)
Methylation support (Vinitsky, Yasko, Neubrander)
Anti-microbials for: Parasites, Lyme(bacteria), Virus, Fungus
Targeted supplementation (MT’d, more TD, less oral) less is more!
Ability to go beyond where “group think” is (can include):
Frequency Therapy in all its different presentations:
Auditory Integration Therapy (very common)
Willingness to ask questions & listen to anyone claiming success
Low stress ABA/NACD (some form of re-learning/learning technique)
List of interventions that individually had an an impact over years
Patience to continue after disappointments with things implemented
Ability to maintain parents’ health for the journey
(This often requires breaks in the focus on the child to focus on self)
This is just off the top of my head…absolutely no scientific foundation, just observation.
I also know children who have “recovered” with only ABA & I think the listmate suggesting a temporary toxic overload was probably hitting the nail on the head. What I fear is puberty for these children & continued vaccinations because the underlying predisposition to handle toxic burden poorly remains. I would rather be the parent forced to go the extra mile that results in a better appreciation for the tenuousness of health & what that means for my whole family. Because I believe the long term outcome for the families forced to understand the reality of our health & healthcare options early on will be brighter. I can’t change my reality, my son is a plodder & I make mistakes, & my journey is perfect. The knowledge that has come from this extends beyond anything I could have ever hoped to understand…& this is the only truly valuable knowledge that exists on the planet…how to be & stay healthy (knowing that this all has a very spiritual foundation) & that it translates into happiness despite what from the outside would look like a semi-miserable situation.
